Rob Vanstone, has lived in Regina, and is a football enthusiast. He was appointed Assistant Sports Editor in 1995 and was named sports columnist one year later. He is now the Leader Post's Sports Co-ordinator and columnist. Vanstone has spent much of his time writing about the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Regina Pats.
