Arthur Douglas was the son of
a lawyer and schoolteacher. He was an active child. Doing was more
important than reading. Arthur told his 11th grade English teacher,
“I don’t have time to read, I’m too busy having adventures. One day
people read about my adventures.”
Later, Arthur became very fond of reading. The author has
chronicled his experiences all his life. Literary influences were
John Grisham, Tom Clancy, Jeffrey Archer, and W.E.B.
Griffin.
The Motel: Lessons in Regret
is the first of the books set to release over the next few years.
The novel is loosely based upon the author and his life experiences
and for these first novels, Arthur spent 8 years managing motels.
Follow the adventures of Jack as he discovers what really matters
in life.
